An apostille is a single certificate, issued in the country where a document originates, that makes it valid in all other member countries of the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. More than 120 countries are parties to it, including the United Kingdom, the United States, India, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia and all EU member states.
Qatar itself is not a party to the Convention, so an apostille does not replace legalization for documents used in Qatar. But many residents of Qatar need apostilles for the other direction – for example a UK degree used in Europe, or an Indian certificate used in another member country. Through our international offices we obtain apostilles in the issuing country and deliver them to you in Qatar.

Does Qatar accept apostilles?
Qatar is not a party to the Apostille Convention, so documents for use in Qatar generally need legalization by the Embassy of Qatar in the issuing country and attestation by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Can a document issued in Qatar be apostilled?
No. An apostille can only be issued by the country where the document originates, and only if that country is a member. Qatari documents are legalized through MOFA Qatar and the destination country's embassy instead.
